Other MCE/Promos results

Received the results for the other subjects this morning. Not feeling that nervous today compared to Friday because they are mainly the H1s which I didn't put in much effort for xD. ((The nervousness only came in for H2 Physics))

Started the day off with GP results. Initially already prepared to fail because I made lots of mistakes in my Short Answer Questions purely due to the lack of understanding of the passage. ((to be frank, I never really understood what the authors are trying to say in GP/english papers. In other words, I smoked through english Olevels' with a B3 :x))

Took my paper from the GP rep calmly. Paper 2: 23/50. For a moment I thought it was a fail. Then again, I remembered it's JC. Passing is 45%. I passed paper 2. Barely.

But what shocked me was the summary which I thought I'll definitely fail. Given a 120 words grace, I only wrote 78 words but I got 4/8 marks. xD Can only say the whole paper 2 was pure luck.

Then received paper 1. 25/50. I thought it wasn't that well done because I normally score about 27 or more for essay tests. But after glancing through the class' results for paper 1, I honestly think that our essays were strictly marked. Highest was 28/50(?) If I didn't remember wrongly.

Well, E for GP again. Same as Summer Test, with the exact same marks. Quite glad I passed because I didn't study for GP as I mentioned in the previous post though E is not good at all. Oops x:

Went out for lunch with 11 other classmates at Causeway afterwards during the 1hr55mins break before the next result release. ((To correct it, before receiving the paper I badly wanted to know how badly I will fail))


Of course that has got to be Econs..., what else? xD Super prepared to fail hahaha. Failing econs has kinda became a norm already.

And obviously, it's a U again. Kinda laughed a little when I saw the results because more than half my class failed econs. Only 1 pass, 1 Subpass. ((Congrats to the one who passed!! happy for you ^^)) Everyone else received a U. With my 38/100 marks U, I "topped" thosewho got Us' in my class. HAHAHAHA. Felt like laughing and and crying at the same time. LOL.

But I'm not sure if it's just my class that did badly. Everyone seems happy and the lecturer was quite pissed that we are still so happy despite not doing well for what she claims "an easy paper". Or maybe it wasn't a claim. Perhaps it's easy but we just didn't put in much hardwork into our H1 Econs.

Praying hard that I will get E for Econs after moderation and FAs.

After Econs came Physics. The subject I long awaited for. I honestly studied the hardest for physics compared to all other H2s' but I'm still a little scared because Physics was never my strength back in sec school and based on Summer Test result.

What scares me most was the percentage of failures shown to us. U grade has the highest number of students lol.

Not sure if you can see, but U has the highest %, followed by B.

When YY passed to me my script, OTAS sheet was on the top page. I saw 21/30. I knew there's still some hope since it's 21/30 xD

Then I flip behind. Paper 2 shows 65.7%. 

H2 Physics overall: 67.

Happy with that B! Improved 1 grade from Summer test ^^

Afterall, I'm happy with the improvements and the targets hit. A pity for those subjects that I didn't meet my own target, but I will work harder in J2!!

Gonna occupy and "entertain" myself with PW and chinese from today onwards till OP and Chinese Alevels' are over.

Going out with classmates to Sentosa next Friday. Hopefully I'll have time to blog about it ^^
